Magic Box Toys enlists Playtime PR

Collectable toy specialists, Magic Box Toys has hired Playtime PR to handle its UK trade and consumer PR, and social media on an ongoing basis from July 2017.

Responsible for phenomenally successful playground crazes including Zomlings, Star Monsters and Gogo’s Crazy Bones, Magic Box Toys has tasked Playtime with revamping their social media strategy as well as implementing a heavyweight PR campaign to support the launch of Zomlings Series 6 in late August.

Brit celebs go bananas for Bananagrams

A host of British celebrities have been going bananas for the word game phenomenon, Bananagrams. The addictive game, already a hit with international stars including Kristen Bell, Scarlett Johansson, Cindy Crawford and Kelly Clarkson, is gathering a following on this side of the pond after its most successful year since launching in London seven years ago.

Shift the Xmas excesses with a Universal fitness DVD

December was a hectic month, not just getting things ready for a magical Christmas with the kids, but also working with Universal Pictures and two other publicists to promote thhe brand new celebrity fitness DVDs from Nadia Sawalha and Corrie’s Debbie Rush and Beverley Callard. Part of my remit is online and so Facebook Fan Pages have been launched for all three titles, as well as YouTube channels to showcase trailers and extracts from the DVDs.
