Date set for second #BoardGameClub

Following its successful debut last month, Board Game Club returns to BrewDog Shoreditch on Wednesday 14 May 2014, 6pm-9pm.

Board Game Club is the brainchild of’s Peter Jenkinson and Playtime PR’s Lesley Singleton. Together they’ve created a speakeasy-esque grown-up games-night for London’s in-the-know crowd, where the mood is relaxed, secretive, under-the-radar and non-geek. It kicked off in March with a selection of hand-picked creatives, journalists, board-game fans and all-round-interesting-types who came together to sample a cool collection of table-top games and enjoy a few beers together.

Lesley comments, “We like beers and board games. Seems a lot of other people do too, so due to popular demand, Board Game Club is back at BrewDog on 14 May! Where else can you climb through a painting and play cracking games with other grown-ups, set to a cool backdrop of blues, jazz and some questionable taxidermy? We’re getting quite a cult following already and can’t wait to see everyone again for another memorable evening.”

Peter adds, “After a stonking reaction from the industry, we’ve grown the games menu significantly. We’ll be mixing things up with some newer names and retro classics, plus an intriguing new ‘find’ from the States. The guest list is already jam-packed with board game fans, creative types, journalists and some familiar faces – all of whom just want to indulge their collective love of board games.”

Access to Board Game Club is strictly through the guest list only; simply email to add your name or find out more details about future events. Be a virtual part of it: #BoardGameClub
